The beauty of Alana De La Garza has made an impression even on tiny screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. There, she began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging from local independent films to global commercials. She quickly found her passion to perform, despite minor parts. She then moved in New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the early 2000s she had small roles on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived series The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing with a variety of top TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated several times for her performance, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. The role was Marisol Delko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's somewhat dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress was born Italian as well as having a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano was only seven years old young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand hopefuls. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV, including the American musical version from Jane Eyre.
